Is there any point being cryptic?
At first look I thought Loggerhead, but I’m now leaning towards Kemp’s Ridley as a serious possibility based on the placement of sutures, degree of pitting, and the shape of the pterygoid (which could be broken, but it doesn’t look like it as both sides are even).
It looks like something out of Star Wars, so it must be turtle skull. Green Sea Turtle, Chelonia mydas?
is it a loggerhead, leather back turtle.
I’d say it was the skull of a loggerhead turtle. Either that or it’s the posseting-iron from a late eighteenth-century Lancashire cordwangler’s splod.

Once I finally figure it out I’ll let you know 😉

I’ll vote for Ridley… Kemp’s or Olive? How about slightly juvenile Kemp’s.
