This week I have another specimen from the Dead Zoo for you to have a go at identifying:

It’s one of almost two thousand birds that will be put into storage as part of the big decant we’ve been working on.
If you’re interested in finding out more about the project and some of the complexities involved, I’ll be doing a virtual talk about it next Friday evening (GMT) for PubSci – it’s free and the details are here if you’d like to join in.
Have fun!
I wouldn’t have a solitary clue as to what that might be
I’m gonna say vulture. And all you clever buggers can tell me why I’m wrong.
What does this critter eat?
Nothing any more.
HA HA
Paolo, does you mean the bird is extinct?
DO you mean, of course I meant!
Perhaps…. 😉
Pe……haps> Yes, it’s lonely
I wish it was a kind of seabird though I can’t assign it to a particular family. Could it be a galliform?
Not galliform!
Adam Yates makes me feel like a dodo.
Are you kidding me, you guys have a Solitaire? And aparently it is part of a skeleton, please share a picture of it with us next Friday. And about that putting into storage, that’s just temporary I hope?
There’s a picture on the Dead Zoo Twitter account from 2016!
Thanksfor the suggestion, it is a really interesting twitter account. But scrolling to 2016 will take forever I’m afraid
Dude, the magnifying glass icon takes you to the search bar – put in “dublindeadzoo solitaire”, and here you have it:

Perphaps I would play this card game without flying off the handle.
James is playing alone up front today for Everton, I see. Great skull!
