Welcome to the fourhundredth mystery object! I thought it would be nice to share a skull specimen from the Dead Zoo:

Any idea which beastie this skull and horns belonged to?
As ever, you can leave your observations, questions and suggestions in the comments box below and I’ll try my hardest to reply.
Have fun!
Loads of variation in these beautiful horns. I love it with all of my big red heart 🙂
LOL what/who’s trolling the FMO 5* rating vote again? The first 2 votes left it on 1/5*! Spam bots?
Trolls are gonna troll 😉
I’ve only just woke up! Time to spring into action and try to ID #FMO400 (does this site have hash tags?)!
🦌…Seems too easy for #400…or maybe it is easy as it’s 400…I don’t trust it 😅.
Not wandering the veldt, still working? Congrats Paolo on the 400th!
What in blazes? Bock to the drawing board.
Can’t think of a rhyme for this one but changing seasons bring bock memories!
I’m afraid I’m one of the people who need hints! The horns look consistent with Hilary’s hint, but I don’t think I can distinguish between the species hinted at and … probably several dozen others!
… Rodents and bats, of course, and shrews, of course, but among larger mammals this … collection of tribes … seems to tie with the Viverrids for having produced a large number of species that the non0-expert can easily confuse!
