Friday mystery object #187 This week I have a bit of an odd-looking (and therefore probably easy) object for you to identify. Any idea what this is? You can leave your comments and suggestions below and I’ll do my best to respond. Good luck! Share this:PrintEmailTwitterFacebookRedditLinkedInPinterestLike this:Like Loading... Related
I don’t think it is, but it looks like the bottom of a roe deer antler.
It does a bit – I hadn’t thought of that!
the texture and asymmetry is very odd, and looking up teratoma produced similar odd images. My initial reaction to seeing teeth made me think Ph********** a******** so is this from a S******?
Hmm, not sure which critter you’re thinking of, but it doesn’t match what this is.
Could it be the tip of the nose of a crocodile skull?
now I am looking at pictures of G******* g********* they do seem to have odd lumps on the tip of their snouts but their teeth look more pointy. I do enjoy Fridays, there is so much information out there that I would never otherwise come across!
I think you may be closer than you were with your previous suggestion 😉
Would gharial nose be more accurate? Maybe a very old gahrial has less pointy teeth than a younger one
Wow! You guys are really good! I’m so impressed by the knowledge out there! Wouter and Barbara for the win!
