This week I have a nice mystery object for you from the collections of the Dead Zoo:
It’s around 6cm across if you want a sense of scale.
I was hesitant to go with this, as I thought it might prove a bit tricky, but Melissa (my wonderful wife and a non-biologist) immediately knew what it was, so perhaps it’s not too much of a challenge after all – let’s hear what you think it is and which species it comes from.
