Friday mystery object #322

I’ve not had an unusual mystery object for a while, so lets see how this one works out:

mystery322

Any idea what this identification of this recent acquisition might be?

Looks like my roast pork, after it’s been in the fridge for a few hours. But I’m not going to guess bore. Will think a bit.

    animal, vegetable or mineral?
at one angle i see lasagna, another angle is some sort of conglomerate, but a different glance looks like a splattering of what my grandfather would’ve called “amateur night,” after a bout of heavy drinking…
the top left corner still leads me to SiO2

When I cut flesh, fat and brains off dead animals I want to turn into clean skeletons , and put it in a bucket in a freezer, this is about what I see when I look into that bucket later. However, I don’t think that’s the kind of stuff which would be worthy for inclusion in a museum collection

The collective here in the office is a mineralized animal the died horribly…like a fossilized tree without the happy factor.

I’ll confess to being stumped. I shall wait patiently for the answer. I shall sit here, on and off, for days….
