This week I have an interesting mystery object for you. It’s quite characteristic, but not necessarily very familiar, so it may prove a bit of a challenge:

I agree, I think Jake and you have just starred different letters from the same word!
I know the structure but have no idea of the species. Definitely the s*****m of a b**d. Its quite flat and broad. Maybe from an aq****c species. Perhaps a p*****n? Not sure though. The k**l is an unusual shape though. Not a large area for muscle attachment.
The keel is indeed unusual – and therefore diagnostic. Nice reasoning, but it’s not an aquatic species.
